L atin American Consultants for Sustainable Development and Environmental Management (LAGA) is a consultancy firm that was incorporated in the Republic of Panama in 2008. Headquartered in the Province of Chiriquí in western Panama, we are a group of sustainable development and environmental management experts with a broad range of experiences in international organizations, national environmental agencies, universities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Our professional personnel include nationals from Panama, Colombia, Mexico, the United States of America, Canada, Great Britain and Nepal.

LAGA is registered with the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) which is the common procurement portal of the United Nations. The UNGM is essentially a vendor database serving as a springboard to introduce the products and services of its members to many UN organizations, countries and regions. Through the UNGM, LAGA has been awarded several contracts with UN organizations, including:

• The Secretariat of the United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF),
